First week done - tick
Thank goodness I lost some weight - this would have been the shortest blog ever!
Current weight 14st 6.5lb yay 3lb lost (good for my first week but I don't expect to maintain loss at this level). Measured my Fat % too this morning...drum roll please....a whopping 46%. That's almost half my body weight (for those not great at maths :-) ) that's bad.
So my underwear has been a debate this week lol. Mainly whether to wear the same for each picture? At first I was thinking no. Last week when my intention was to post daily my husband was keen to check that I was wearing clean knickers each day!! - how very rude. As I'm now posting weekly its not difficult to wear the same undies but I was thinking they'd soon be too big for me, and I can't possibly take a pic with me knickers around me ankles. But maybe that's the point...see me grow out of them. (I will change once they start to fall down - promise)
So Richard has asked me what my goals are ; short/medium/long term. So? I'm not sure. I've tried that game before 'I will lose 2st before my birthday! I want to be a size 14 by the time I go on holiday. I will lose 4lb this week' and quite frankly this just never works for me. I always fail, feel shit, then stuff my face with chocolate. My long term goal is easy - I want to wear size 12 jeans from Next, Fat Face & New Look. If this makes Dorothy Perkins size 12 too big, so be it. It must be that size in those 3 retailers. Time scale - how ever long it takes me. I suspect that means losing 5st which if I think of it makes me cry, seems an impossible task, like climbing Everest. So I'll aim for Bennachie first. Now to my short term goal - how about abstaining from alcohol for 2 weeks? Medium goal - getting my fitness levels up and exercising 4 times a week? Because really the whole point has to be fitness & healthy not losing weight - but I will discuss this another week!
What I have learnt this week? Make sure that everything I eat is delicious. No more eating lunch/dinner and not really enjoying. What a waste of calories!
Your comfort zone is a beautiful place but nothing ever grows there.

14st 9.5lb
So this is my starting point. This morning it was my instinct to try to cover up as much of my wobbly bits as possible, to do my hair & makeup and breathe in! But then I thought 'no, just do it'. Like I can be bothered to put makeup on every morning? ha ha nope!
I have to say that I don't look quite as bad as I had dreaded (its a good mirror) but my weight says it all. As a little wee lass of 5' 3" on a tall day day (an inch less on a short day) my weight is unhealthy, and lets be honest not very attractive, and I'm at a higher risk of developing diabetes, cancer, heart disease etc this list goes on and I'm pretty sure you know it all anyway...hence this blog!
Of course what I want to know is how the hell did I get this fat? But that's a story for tomorrow.

A journey of a thousand miles starts with one step.
I don't know how to blog but I'll learn I'm sure, each day improving. Bear with me.
Today I read about a woman in America that took a selfie (or as I often mistakenly call a onesie) Every day to show her weight loss. I thought it sounded like a good idea but for some crazy reason decided to do it publicly - worts and all!
Tomorrow I'm probably going to regret this but here goes.
In the morning I will post my current weight together with a onesie picture of me in my glory. Support and follow me if you fancy. I'll try to keep it as exciting as I can!
Wish me luck!
