Still struggling

Not at home (no, I'm not on holiday - just at my daughter's house waiting for a delivery) so no picture or weight. Though to be honest I'm not expecting anything wonderful. Still can't get into the zone. But I am working on it and it will happen.

So this week I've been playing netball! I know! So last time I played netball I was like 13 or something. All I could remember was the bibs and tiny skirts. Well the bibs remain but thank fuck there was no sign of a tiny skirt. The warm up killed me. And then all the running around... Half way through I was so close to sticking my hand up and asking to sit down before I calapsed into a pile of sweat. The whistle went and I was saved. Boy it was knackering. I presumed I was the only newbie playing and that everyone knew everyone, so when I was asked who was the girl in the middle of the court I looked at her bib and answered 'centre'. Ha ha she was asking for her actual name!

There is diet stuff all over! I'm recording about 5 TV programmes. The newspapers have diet supplements. The supermarkets have offers on diet food. It just goes on. And the information is boggling and often contradictory! Who to believe? I wondered how many plans you could merge into one? The 5-2 (eat 5 days fast 2) would also work with the 16-8 (only eat within an 8 hour window everyday) with the Paleo diet (um fruit, veg, meat and fish) with the cider vinegar diet (drink cider vinegar yuk). But how many rules are that? But I am tempted to try some of the more sensible ones. One at a time of course. So this week I'm going to do the 5-2. So healthy eating for 5 days and only 500 calories for 2 days. Let's see what happens....

Just be yourself. Life is too short to be someone else.
