Mind body and soul
Weight today: 14 5½
Loss this week: 4lb
Total loss: 13½lb
It's not a very clear photo but look at the date on the packet of jelly crystals?! I'm turning into my mother! But that's ok, I love my mum. When people say that it's always intended as a negative. Why? It's hardly a surprise - you came from her body and genes, and she brought you up so shock horror you end up being a bit like her. And just remember, it's your fault that she pees a little when she laughs! Any way the jelly was fine ha ha!
Continuing our conversation from last week about natural exercise I omitted to tell you about the stairs...to my office....63 steps! (Not that I counted - of course I did, Every time!) At least once or twice a day. But don't worry I've expensed a Stennah stairlift!
So I was at work the other day and there were Kit Kats. Only 100 calories (ok 107). Quick calculation in my head and I worked out that I could eat one no problem. Had a finger, then went for the second. I couldn't find it. It had disappeared! Disappeared down my throat. I had already eaten it! Without paying any attention. Mindless eating. I had just broken rule no. 43! Must always eat mindfully and not wolf it down. Tut tut
I was planning on seeing a friend who was off work unwell, so I thought I'd take some nice biscuits. So at the shops Monday night I got some Galaxy cookies. They sat on my counter shouting at me. I had to tell them to shut the f@*# up. In the end I put them in a cupboard. At least then the 'eat me' was muffled! Cookies is a step up from a couple of weeks ago when I took another poorly friend a big bag of family crisps. Sounds weird but she loves crisps (definitely a lass who's savoury rather than sweet). But I gave her a flavour she didn't like - and I should have known it too. They say it's the thought that counts??
