So, I've been offered one of those job things! You know, lots of people have them... You go to a place of their choosing, do a bit of paper shuffling and then they give you money! Very excited. Especially as I've done this paper shuffling for free for 18 months and now they want to pay me. The catch? They want me to paper shuffle every day! I haven't worked full time for almost 25 years - how on earth will I cope? The good bit is that I'm hoping it will help my weight loss in so much as I'll be very busy paper shuffling I'll forget to eat as much. Bad bit is that there are always biscuits/chocolates in the office. A client of mine, only on Tuesday, gave me a box of Ferrero Rocher! My favourite (ha ha, yeah yeah they are all my favourite). Wish me luck
So this week I've had two celebrations for one big birthday and valentine's day. This means lots of food, alcohol and chocolate! I also had a 9 hour drive yesterday which was also not very losing weight friendly! At the end of the journey I found Tom Kerridge's Dopamine Diet book in my sisters kitchen. I read it (always very interested to read about the next, new diet phenomena) and I liked it! Low carb, high protein & fat but you can eat fruit! Might give it a go once I get home. It sounds doable.
Anyway, my quiz! If you answered a) eat cake you'll be right! Got home from the doctors, put the kettle on and had a big slice of hubby's birthday cake because I felt sorry for myself. If you answered b) cried then you're not wrong, a few of them came later when I felt shit for eating the cake!
Be thankful for what you have, and work hard for what you don't!
